Thanks for the detailed feedback on the new tracks. Future material will vary in what sources are used. Next recordings will involve a lot more looped-sounds for example.

Got a little Akai 4000DS II 1/4" reel-to-reel last weekend. First time getting into r2r.

Plays back fine but has some issues while recording. Hoping to figure out what is wrong and getting it fixed soon.

I suppose the biggest question is whether or not using digital processing is an at all intuitive or satisfying experience, since my main hold-up has been the fear it's going to be mind-numbingly boring and fiddly to work with. For production-purposes I find digital equipment (plugins) really useful...

Thanks for the feedback. The mic was placed about half a metre off the cab, so it would pick up a good amount of room, but at the same time, it does not sound as "crunchy" as a direct-recording. I like it for this recording, but there will be variations for future releases. The pedal line-...
