^ I've been searching for one of those Satan distortions off and on for a few years, but have never seen one for sale. Even though it's just an OEM variant of the truly crapadelic (but bendable!) Rocktek distortion, I'd love to own one.

Here's some early(ish) data transmission test gear that spits out pulse trains not entirely unlike a garden variety APC, but at 100 times the weight and power with Nixies. Plus a guts up Simmons MIDI controlled VCA mixer awaited memory backup battery reverse engineering (both units are gobbed, but due to the complexity required for disassembly I'm only doing one at a time).

I bought all these radios last year to record, and/or spy on, and/or use as evidence in legal defenses against co-workers, and/or possibly make some chump change from royalty-free sonics in the process:

I finally had the opportunity to properly record a useless bit of their SHIT this past shift, though my recorder's batteries died within an hour and a half of setting and forgetting it in my car.

Still great noisemachers.
