I wasn’t familiar with Demons That Drove’s work prior to this, but their style fits right in with the times these tracks were recorded; this is the kind of stuff you'd typically come across on a noise netlabel circa the late-00's. I might’ve been blown away by it back when it was released, but now I mostly find the material on Beyond Normal Perceptible Reality boring and reeking of adolescent amateurism: some things are simply best left in the past. Highlights include “House With A Scar,” “Aids Muscle” and “Showtime.”
