Do any of you chuckle heads happen to have a copy? I sent out a bunch, and several got lost in the mail because of a strike. I don't have a copy.

I still have a few boxes of tapes to go through but I know I have a cdr with a foil sticker cover. I found that the other day but put it back into a box of cds because I'm sorting tapes.
I probably don't have this tape...

Note: When doing this rip, at the time I didn't know for sure what the first track was; there's nine tracks total and at the start of the tape, there's an incredibly short (<1sec.) burst of noise followed by some silence, with four more tracks per side, so for this I assumed that short burst was in fact the first track. Actually this would be a great opportunity to confirm with you whether or not that's true.

It is yeah. All the tracks are Greek gods, because at the time I was getting into world mythology. "Ἔρις" is Eris, but obviously it reads like Epic and I thought it would be funny if it was a half second.

Thanks for the upload. I either lost the tracks in a catastrophic computer failure, or I deleted them because I was all pissy about something.

For what it's worth, listening back to it now, it's not bad.

Had I known I'd apparently be in possession of the only known digital copy of it a decade later, I'd have saved it uncompressed!

I dunno, I think I'm just feeling nostalgic. I recently found a release of mine on Soulseek which I don't have. The guy who does has it privated. When I told him to unlock it so at least the person who recorded the fucking garbage could hear it again, I got blocked. I was annoyed at the time, but it's kind of funny actually.

I recognise some of the sounds, one of them is a circuit bent keyboard I gave to DJ Scotch Egg. I might just put them all on youtube for free if I can be bothered.

Shig is such a character. I once got hit by a flying scotch egg he was launching at high speed into the audience via sling shot. I love his bass guitar work for Seefeel.
