Wasn’t sure where else to put this; this is a mixcloud DJ set Keiji Haino did fairy recently. Goes anywhere from blues to opera to medieval music and then some. No noise but it’s pretty fascinating: Haino is clearly very well-read (well-heard?). Check it out:

Similarly, here’s a 2005 article where Haino was asked to listen to several pieces of music and guess what they were (spoilers: they couldn’t fool him at all). Gives an interest insight into how this guy thinks.

My only Keiji Haino story is that I was once at a music festival where I had to choose between seeing Keiji Haino or Weird Al, I chose the latter.


I was at this Fushisusha gig in a church another time tho :3 pretty great.
