Wow this is a great read! If only for the origin stories of the Potts brothers and the LA history.
Sure the bulk of it is academic and dry as fuk, but it redeems it self many times over for the local history.

The best thing about this book was the reading/listening lists at the end of the interviews.
There were some treasures there. Pre-internet it was all we had to work with...
