sonic youth / hipster noise.

I saw Thurston Moore play solo at the Smell in downtown Los Angeles. It was the most crowded show I have ever been to there. Anyway .. debatable as to whether or not it was a noise show.. there was a lot of guitar noodling and feedback. There were many younger Sonic Fans there and from the comments I overheard they did not get what he was doing at all and I thought what he was doing was still relatively conventional... but I'm not that into guitars so..

Doubt it: he seemed genuinely frustrated with the whole ordeal,he just got a little too emotional is all. Timdrage pointed that out on NG back when it was happening, except he probably phrased it more accurately than I did.

I dunno but Sonic Youth has a far wider appeal and much larger fan base..

I forget what show it was on netflix but it had Kim Gordan playing a role.. she was okay.. not a main character.
