When Crumer played the Smell in Los Angeles which is an all ages venue he had a bottle of whisky on stage and the owner Jim came up and took the bottle about 5-10 minutes into his set and Jason chased him off stage and that was the end of his set.

SICKNESS...heard some stories about him and when some of the ypunger people heard he was gonna play Tulsa noise fest they freaked out expecting violence.
If you were there the energy was insane and the crowd was wild as fuck and I dont think anybody was gonna hit anybody on.purpose without getting dogpiled by everyone there...so yeah no aggro violence...well lots of violence but punky consentual noise moshery and of course the performances were all.kinds of violent...

I happened to bump into him and me and mark trivia night had breakfast with him..Chris...and talked about me calling him a Cunt (what...me...nawww...lol) on the forum and some stories about being punk hardcore as kids and expectations in noise. Very cool guy did a good set.

We then met crank surgeon and Scott from witches of malibu and I figured out he was in hunting lodge and kinda gushed on him and then he went record shopping with us.

But yeah...lets hear some SICKNESS stories.

AFAIR, Sickness & Slogun guys were not really happy about that, but this was 15 years ago, so not sure.

I seem to recall there being some kind of pissing match between Sickness and Stimbox.. like a challenge to do a set without delay.. like using a delay was cheating or something... may have been referenced by the Lazer noise up your ass cover .. not sure

Anyway I saw Sickness in Los Angeles and I guess it was sorta after a long hiatus of his not playing live and he lost the signal at some point.. not a big deal but I thought it was kinda funny knowing that maybe if he had been using a delay maybe it wouldn't have been so obvious?
