What I find odd is how in China anorexia was never an issue until very recently. Granted China has suffered near uncountable famines in its history but in the last 50 years or so has been relatively stable in that respect and now they have anorexics.
I've read the reasoning being that its 'an imported illness from western culture' but I'm thinking thats not fully the reason. I'm thinking actually having a stable food supply could be part of the issue and that rock n roll and blue jeans is maybe just a tiny part of the problem...oh and that humans are inherently kind of fucked up is a large factor in this.

I'm pretty sure I've heard historical stories of Chinese people purposely starving themselves to death for whatever reasons so...yeah...I dunno.

Hmm would I rather be anorexic or have my feet bound and deformed? The whole foot binding thing hasn't caught on here like getting poorly translated Chinese character tats have

so anyway. now the continuous rap paranoia has faded, I am starting to believe my imaginary friend got me and my twin's childhood confused, slept with him thinking he was me, and wrongly believe her children are his. less tragic for sure

They aren't antisocial you just have to make an effort to talk to them. Being racist and stupid probably doesn't help.
Im so gonna learn spanish hanging out with the Mexican guy at work. We have a fucking blast goofing off joking around singing songs and stuff. It's great.

there was a chinese guy in my hals in glasgow; a nice guy, whenever I knocked on his door. I remember for the first few weeks listening to him on the phone kinda zoning out on his tonal language; I found it really expressive
