Re: Random thoughts
in defence of Chris Rea, and maybe even Rod Stewart (I don't have the GUTS to listen to Rod today), I don't actually mind having that ^^ stuck in my head, even find it quite amusing (can't wait to see those b*a****).

Re: Random thoughts
I remember the second year of university, just out of a mental hospital and massively confused by everything, telling someone I saw the valve sound system at uni a couple of years ago

for some reason his use of "listen" really shook me
IDT there's anything wrong with listening to Rod Stewart, outside the fact you have to put yourself through that. I find unusual experiences - and listening to Rod Stewart is one - funny and potentially illuminating of other things. this is not unique to me or to Rod Stewart. I started self harming for the same reason :-/
If I couldn't stomach Rob Stewart fans I would not speak with e.g. my father. happily, I think it's irrelevant. everything like that is irrelevant. some people listen to Rod Stewart, others self harm, still others make themselves sick or feign doing so. I have little to no interest in what people do unless they do it stupidly. so e.g. failing to follow trends
