Re: BUILD YOUR OWN FEEDBACK LOOPER
The only part of this I take a different stance on:
Anti-rotation tabs can extend the life of a build when hardware invariably loosens up with time and use. I absolutely hate the sentiment that these should just be cut, as it has led to parts distributors not carrying the superior part resulting in either a higher cost or lower quality build on my part.
All it takes is a small hole or recess in the enclosure.
Anyway, sorry about the rant, all else is good.

Re: BUILD YOUR OWN FEEDBACK LOOPER
While in practice I find them largely a nuisance for my slapdash, miscreant caveman kludger, slanty-pot purposes, I do agree. It confounds me how common the notion that the nib is some sort of inexplicable, useless byproduct, and that clipping it off is more sensible/simple than drilling an extra hole to accommodate it is. Um, proper parts and proper torque are useful.
Also there is Locktite, but that is
a bit much for some applications.
