Any comedic ornpurposely funny PE?
Any PE thats not angry or aggro?

I think that PE is where noise starts folding back into music...the focus on lyrics is what makes me think that.

I think you are right there, in particular maybe towards an aggressive metal / rock and roll.

oh without question. i started my entry into this thread with reference to (more or less explicit) "content", just one of myriad means by which the noise may be focused in ways that might be deemed musical.

comedy. anyone who cannot grasp the intentionally humorous threads of whitehouse great white death could not possibly have been paying attention. there are strong lines of intentional humor if not outright comedy running through plenty of pe. i always found the late keith brewer of taint and mania to be a humorist of the highest caliber. perhaps a perv of far greater caliber but also, yes, humorist without question.

slightly on the side here but there was a fairly recent study that found that psychopaths and comedians share a number of personality traits.

not to suggest that purveyors of pe are necessarily psychos but that aspects thereof have in pe often proven rich veins for exploration. again the idear of content possibly driving the noise. whitehouse psychopathia sexualis notwithstanding.

but for more recent examples of humor, as i've recently mentioned antichildleague, how about-

There is a comedy thread in MISC and I posted this video there but here ya go
The talk kind of...could... relates to what we do just replace comedy with the noise genere of your choice.

Have also offended or confused people by telling them they aren't qualified to define humor except for their own self or how Comedy is painful and about suffering and failure and mental illness and by attacking comedians for the subject matter of thier jokes you are attacking fragile damaged depressed semi sociopaths.
Comedy is Art but its not respected or seen as creative as other art due to every other goof ass thinking they are funny. You maybe witty and even funny but you are not a comedian.
Anyhow...why not go and talk about the philosophy of comedy in the Comedy thread in MISC

I had a very brief project called Ha.P.E which was a P.E sound with lyrics about lovely things, like how baby bunnies are cute and the smell of Spring mornings. I remember a small handful of people in the P.E section of the old Troniks bored getting uppity.

Ever hear these guys?

I found one time online somewhere a PE track called ...SOMEONE TO WIPE HER...sounded like a 13 year old boy who had just heard Whitehouse...not sure if it was comedy or what but is worth seeking out for being so obviously teenage...its great.

Any preteen kid PE? Like Old Skull?

About the project, that someone had the audacity to not be super-dee-duper-serious. Wish I still had the tracks, it was fairly funny. My favourite line was "The dew makes the grass look lovely."
