I had once read that if you specifically tell them to mark you off their map with an x they'd leave you alone but I did that and the next day their supervisor showed up.. lol .. anyway I told him he wasn't welcome either.

I think a good ploy is to get these kind of things off their que sheets- I remember telesales... "Hi - obviously you dont enjoy paying taxes.." Reply "Actually I love paying taxes, i'd pay more, everytime I see a new road, or some jet fighter I feel - yep! I paid for part of that.." - line goes dead...

There was a guy in the noise scene who's project was called Soup Purse. He said his roommate would invite them in to talk. He had no intention of joining but they kept stepping up their efforts to recruit him even going so far as to start bringing young attractive female members as bait.

Anyway some of these visits would get very argumentative and Todd said the crescendo of one was this woman yelling if a baby was the size of an adult it'd kill you to get to its food.
