Re: Enticing and exciting gear photographs
Jeepers, all of those different hands reaching in to touch it really rubs hard against my modern day comfort zone.
One of my favorite aspects of my old H4 is that I can just cram it into my pocket. That thing does *not* look pocket friendly (unless you are a freak and wear cargo pants).

Re: Enticing and exciting gear photographs
I still have a gear boner for one of these the H8 is trying to edge into the same market but what that many inputs it really should reconsider the form factor. If you don't need 12 fucking inputs there are way more compact models to use.

Re: Enticing and exciting gear photographs
Fairly safe bet that scotch cabinet is valued higher than any single piece of gear I have.
Picked up a Hammond Solovox today, I am told that it emitted smoke while in use, and was immediately shut down. Does not smell of BBQ, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Appears as if the model K variant hails from sometime between 1946 and 1948.
