The only part of this I take a different stance on:

Anti-rotation tabs can extend the life of a build when hardware invariably loosens up with time and use. I absolutely hate the sentiment that these should just be cut, as it has led to parts distributors not carrying the superior part resulting in either a higher cost or lower quality build on my part.

All it takes is a small hole or recess in the enclosure.

Anyway, sorry about the rant, all else is good.
When in doubt, add resistance.

Nice video, makes it look super easy!
I like his pedals, great gear. he also released a zine earlier this year about pedal building and screen printing, its great.

While in practice I find them largely a nuisance for my slapdash, miscreant caveman kludger, slanty-pot purposes, I do agree. It confounds me how common the notion that the nib is some sort of inexplicable, useless byproduct, and that clipping it off is more sensible/simple than drilling an extra hole to accommodate it is. BAN ROUTINE POT CIRCUMCISION NOW!

Um, proper parts and proper torque are useful.
Also there is Locktite, but that is
a bit much for some applications.
