'''KIRA''' is the harsh noise/HNW project of recording artist Vincent Ceraso, based in Sewell, New Jersey, USA, and is the second of two noise projects under the same moniker. KIRA is a "sequel" to Ceraso's predecessor noise project Blutbad, which had twenty-three releases before being left behind to pursue KIRA. The debut self-titled demo was released on October 7th, 2015, and unlike Blutbad, this first release was very well-received by noise enthusiasts. What started out as strictly harsh noise wall soon turned into more traditional harsh noise and drone, but still keeping in touch with HNW every now and then. The KIRA albums primarily consist of one to three or more tracks (unless its a full-length record), and are sometimes written as concept albums, with dark and often times historical themes surrounding the tracks, such as World War 2, for example. Bio

The self-titled demo was released on October 7th, 2015. The title of the project is a refence to the anime/manga series Death Note.

In the early days of KIRA, there was a lot of experimentation with not only traditional harsh noise wall, but harsh noise, power electronics, drone, and even industrial; 2016's Modernism Tragedy, the second full-length album, is an example of such experimentation.
