Background
White is Dr. Failure's eleventh noise album. Dr. Failure on May 31, 2018 decided to start drafting up a noise album that had "white people stereotypes" as track titles. Eventually, they had 40 track names and had to record 40 noise tracks for this album. This process went on for 1 year and 14 days. Because this album was recorded over the course of a little over a year, there is an evolution factor in play as you listen to the album as Dr. Failure brings in new gear, new toys, new techniques, new sounds, et cetera. You witness this progression from the ever so simple No Input Mixing to using a couple of microphones, and a couple of pedals, all the way to using an analog synth and a tape deck on top of everything else.
This album's runtime is a little over 12 hours, currently making it Dr. Failure's longest release.
