'''KIRA''' is a harsh noise/HNW project based in New Jersey, USA. The debut self-titled demo was released on October 7th, 2015. What started out as strictly harsh noise wall soon began focusing more on harsh noise and drone, but still keeping in touch with traditional HNW. The KIRA albums usually consist of one to three or more tracks, and are often times written as concept albums. Influences include Prurient, Vomir, Merzbow and Full of Hell.

On February 5th, 2016, the very first KIRA full-length LP "Modernism Tragedy" was released, and due to the success of it, a follow-up full-length record "The Human Condition" was released on July 1st, 2016.

It was announced shortly after that KIRA would be going back to its roots and "would only be strictly HNW from this moment forward."

Bio

Conceived in the fall of 2015, KIRA is a harsh noise wall project based in New Jersey, USA. KIRA is the successor to Blutbad. The self-titled demo "KIRA" was released on October 7th, 2015.

In the early days of KIRA, there was a lot of experimentation with not only traditional harsh noise wall, but harsh noise, power electronics, drone, and even industrial. The 2016 full-length "Modernism Tragedy" is an example of such experimentation. However, as of June 2018, the project is now strictly harsh noise wall.

To date, KIRA has released 7 full-length albums. The inaugural full-length "Saturn Devouring His Son" was released on October 31st, 2015. The 2020 album "MU" is the only full-length not to be self-released, instead put out by U.K. netlabel HNW.
