Background

The Funeral of Hoverjer is Dr. Failure's fourteenth noise album. August 19, 2019 was Dr. Failure's first day of classes as a college Sophomore. After they got out of their last class of the day, at around 9:00 p.m., they went straight to the studio to record this album, start to finish.

The theme of the album, the "Funeral of Hoverjer" comes from a video about a man who claimed to have traveled to the year 10,000 CE, in which he landed in a city referred to as "Hoverjer".
