This article is about the experimental artist Herd William.

Herd William is an experimental musician from the Salem/Keizer/Woodburn/ and Portland areas of Oregon, USA created by William K. Herd jr. Recording started in September 2008 with aspirations to create a kvlt black metal[1] project inspired by artists in Les Légions Noires[2]. The project name was originally named Herd but due to the U.K. Band The Herd[3], William was added. Artist is currently unsigned.

History

      Early years
After several other experimental music adventures, mainly all A-Capella, proved to be unsatisfying, William started practicing with a child's toy keyboard. First recording was to feature Herd William collaborating with Local musician Mormo[4] but the recording was unsuccessful due to equipment failure.

   *   Bass Beginnings
After several changes in locations and buying an electric Drive Wildfire Bass Guitar on Craigslist. William Herd thought it was time to start recording.
