Background

It's Been A While is Dr. Failure's nineteenth Noise album. This was the first album released after a 2 year hiatus following the Covid-19 outbreak. During the pandemic, Dr. Failure attempted a Noise Live Stream where they attempted to perform weekly (or otherwise regularly scheduled) livestreams, but shortly after the first livestream, they quickly sunk into having to work long hours daily to make ends meet. While they never considered or called it a hiatus as they still had projects lined up, like aNNIHILATION, Super Cali, $0 Life Insurance demo, and ACAB, these projects (as of May 9, 2022) have still not reached completion.
