Destroyed For Comfort (D4C)is an experimental multimedia project/band founded/fronted by Rani Baker in 1997 (under the name id moltov/DEVIANCE from 1997-2001, then SIMəN 2001-2003)and rebooted alongside poet/guitarist David Bates in 2003. The project utilizes found sound, sequenced and sampled tracks, real-time synthesis and heavily distorted vocals. Live performances have included backup dancers, guest musicians, and projected and manipulated video.
