As of 03:07pm October 4th 2016 the Happiness Patrol Project is dead. We just killed it. Send In Thee Idiots is the new project.

Biography

Spreading the good news of Jehovah's Kingdom through the medium of Noise Music, Plunderphonics, Drones and Power Electronics since 2012 the Happiness Patrol resided in the High Peak area of Derbyshire, England.

The project is now terminated.

Ill-conceived bullshit plagiarised from another project.

01 - No Copyrights.
To put a value (monetary or material) on something is to commodify it.
To commodify a thing is to deny it as art.
We deny any inherent value in our work, hence our work is art.
As our work is of no value there is little point in claiming ownership.
Hence we dedicate our work to the public domain free of both license and warranty.

02 - Low-art For Art's Sake.
Marshall McLuhan told us that "Art is anything you can get away with."
We make no claim of originality or talent, simply the urge to create.
We embrace the outsider, the naive, the primitive.
Skill and technique are relative, taste doubly so.

03 - Consistency is Over-Rated.
We make no claims of consistency either in our musical stylings or our thoughts and philosophies.
Our history is incomplete, inconsistent and perhaps contradictory. This is deliberate.

04 - Musical Transparency
Every track available for free download forever ASAP via our Soundcloud upon completion.
This pledge does not apply to the "found sound" interludes found on our CD-R and cassette releases nor our spur of the moment District Convention Dog Shit Overseer releases (see point #3)
